Today I will share a health tip on the importance of getting the recommended amount of uninterrupted sleep daily to help you too. There are both short-term and long-term negative effects of poor sleep that may affect your day-to-day tasks. In the long run, poor sleep quality can increase the risk of you developing dementia and cognitive issues. Getting seven to eight hours of sufficient sleep daily can help the brain recover and enhance your thinking. You can improve sleep by optimizing your bedroom environment and adjusting your daily habits and routines to allow you to get to bed earlier. Eliminate any barriers that keep you from getting adequate sleep including excessive screen time, especially in the one hour before bed.
